About Spread the Word
Background
Spread The Word Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry founded in 1993 to support and encourage individuals in their personal walk with the Lord through written materials, personal/group ministry, and classroom settings.
Current
The primary method of support in recent years has been to homeschool communities through teaching traditional academic classes at homeschool co-ops for grades 7-12 and we are currently providing academic teaching through Spread The Word Education.

Spread the Word
For the 2024-2025 academic year, Spread The Word Education is partnering with Sparrows Home Education to provide a variety of classes on Tuesdays from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Tuesday classes are different from and NOT connected with the Sparrows’ Classes that are offered on Fridays. Tuesday Classes are more traditional academic learning and families pay per class. Sparrows’ Friday classes are more enrichment and relationship-building. Taking classes on Tuesdays is not a membership for Sparrows Friday classes.
Tuesday teachers operate independently. Vicki Myers is the only Spread The Word teacher for Tuesday Classes. All other Tuesday teachers, even those that teach at Sparrows on Fridays, are operating independently for Tuesday classes.
