Know a Teacher?

We are always looking for passionate educators to partner with in learning.

About Us

We have gracious, skilled, and energetic volunteers that staff our 3 and under nursery. Parents also take turns volunteering in the nursery service role.

Our pre-k/kinder class is managed by Nicole Lalond. Nicole partners with our littlest learners in engaging and varied activities that marry well with their budding curiosity and natural affinity for learning.

We offer a variety of revolving class options for our elementary-aged students, including (but not limited to) art, science, gym, creative writing, cooking, foreign language, history, Bible, handicrafts, music, worship, apologetics, nature study, and more.

We offer a variety of revolving class options for our middle-grade students, including (but not limited to) art, science, gym, creative writing, cooking, foreign language, history, Bible, handicrafts, music, worship, apologetics, nature study, and more.

As Sparrows continues to grow, we are expanding our range to offer classes suitable for high schoolers. For this fall, any “all ages” or “10+” classes are appropriate for these students. If you are interested in helping us to offer more breadth and depth for our high schoolers, please reach out! We also encourage students to teach classes here at Sparrows.

About Us

Sparrows Home Education is a thriving coalition of home-educating families fortified in community and rooted at home.

Our mission at Sparrows is to equip families to confidently home-educate their children. We believe a living home education is the best place for a child’s interconnected spirit, mind, and body to flourish. Our community seeks to be a place for iron to sharpen iron so that families can do the real work at home of setting an educational feast.

Matthew 10:29-31

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
